In the early 1900s, Dr. Benjamin R. Bluitt pioneered African American healthcare at the Bluitt Sanitarium, while Jacob Purvin fostered enterprise and opportunity in the adjoining Purvin Building. Today, their legacies of service, enterprise, and community live on at The HUB Gallery & Grounds.
